At the heart of Magic Lands Alliance is a simple principle:
Stories of Country should be developed with the people to whom those stories belong.
Project One has been shaped through collaboration with First Nations communities, Elders, Traditional Owners, historians, educators, artists and cultural practitioners. Their knowledge and guidance inform cultural research, language, music, costume, production design, education and the long-term legacy of the project.
Collaboration is not part of the process—it is the foundation of the project.
First Nations collaboration informs every stage of Project One, from research and language to production design, education and visitor experiences.
Where appropriate, cultural assets and infrastructure may be retained for ongoing community and educational use, subject to cultural guidance and relevant approvals.
The project is guided by ongoing consultation, consent and shared responsibility to ensure cultural integrity and respectful storytelling.
