Magic Lands Alliance (MLA) is a values-driven cultural initiative built through collaboration, shared purpose, and community participation.

Support directly contributes to the development of Magic Lands – Purra and Buckley’s Chance — MLA’s first international historical drama feature film project — alongside broader educational, cultural, and on-Country infrastructure initiatives connected to the project.

Project 1 — Ngarram: Purra and Buckley’s Chance
Project 1 is MLA’s first major initiative — a historical feature film and cultural infrastructure project with an estimated production budget of approximately AUD$5.2 million.
The project includes:
Feature film production
Indigenous collaboration and cultural consultation
Traditional hut, shelter, and cave structure builds
Educational research and development
Long-term cultural infrastructure outcomes
Approximately 60% of Project 1 funding is currently under conditional agreement (May, 2026), with funding to be released once the remaining finance has been secured.
